Outback Cleanups Australia is a non for profit organisation dedicated to removing illegally dumped and discarded materials from the Australian Outback, foreshores, and marine environments. Our focus is to lessen the negative impact of rubbish on the world around us, one piece of litter at a time.

Our Mission
Our Mission at Outback Cleanups Australia is to remove illegally dumped and discarded materials in remote and rural locations.
Our aim is to protect both wildlife and vulnerable environments whilst bringing attention to the problem dumping causes to sustaining this incredible and diverse country. Our focus is on Australian bush, beach and marine environments.
Our Foundation
OCA was founded by Boenardi in 2019 and ACNC approved in 2022. In 2023 OCA was granted DGR status. Since 2019 Boe has removed, collected, recycled and data logged 76,500 kilograms of rubbish pollution from remote beach, bush & marine environments across our amazing country. This ever-growing tally proves that we can all make a big difference, and we hope that through our efforts we can encourage people to pick up rubbish especially when in the bush environments.
Our Inspiration
We are particularly inspired to change the perception that picking up rubbish is a ‘punishment’, (often learnt at school) by empowering all generations to take pride in their country and responsibly leave a place BETTER than they found it. OCA works to inspire people to think both globally and locally & be proud of the positive impact they can have by cleaning up a little bit of Australia everyday.
